When you see three old grannies walking down the street, chatting away, the thought of them breaking into a rigorous dance routine that would easily daunt even young guns would probably be the last thing you’d expect. But then, you probably haven’t been treated to a performance by the Birmingham grannies.

You won’t believe your eyes when you watch these three grandmas wearing floral skirts, headscarves and cardigans break into full-blown hip-hop-dancing on the streets of West Midlands, UK. These grannies dance like there’s no tomorrow and it’s a visual treat for their audience because it’s unlikely to see oldies dance better than professionals.

In the video, which was originally posted on Twitter by a user called Arslaan Mahmood, these ladies can be seen performing bhangra with such ease that could well match any Punjabi who’s been dancing for years! The video has been shared on various social media platforms and has gone viral with millions of views and shares.

Well, just so you know these three ladies are not actually grannies, though they totally pass off as them. They are actually aged between 43 and 51 and can be seen performing to Low by Flo Rider, Psy’s Gangnam Style and other numbers every now and then in the area.
