A massive stroke that stole six-time Grammy award winner Randy Travis’ voice is making its way back. Call it a miracle or pure love, Travis is slowly getting his voice with the help of music. The country music legend spent five and a half months in the hospital after a massive stroke and the doctors had said that there wasn’t any hope of bringing back the legendary’s voice.
However, it was Randy’s wife Mary who tried everything to get her husband’s voice back. After taking him for hours of rehab and therapy, they discovered that music holds a special place in his life. “I can see it in his eyes, I just know when it reaches him. I have no doubt when it reaches him. He started reacting to my mistakes in music. I knew we are not only getting it. we are getting it all,” his therapist and singer Dave Alexander said.
Travis and Alexander are all set to give live performances and raise money for the Randy Travis foundation now, and it seems like a pure miracle!
