VIDEO: Man’s narrow brush with death as he miraculously escapes burning building
In an attempt to escape a fire in his apartment, a man ended up putting his life in danger as he attempted to escape through the window in a high-rise China's Chongqing city. Unfortunately, his attempts at kicking open another window failed, causing much panic.

Trying to escape a raging fire in his building, a man in China tried to escape through an open window – more than 15 floors high – only to end up perilously hanging on for dear life till rescue comes. A harrowing video, shared by The Shanghaiist online, shows the man hanging from the window of his apartment in a high-rise in China’s Chongqing city. According to a report, the man tries to kick and break open a window of an apartment below to little avail, and, in fact, endangering him further.
As people on the street look on in horror, rescuers arrive at the scene well into a minute into the video, helping him to climb inside.
The video was posted on December 14 and people on social media remembered to thank the fireman who helped him. It had over 1500 shares at the time of writing.
