In what can be termed as bizarre, locals of Buldhana district in Maharashtra resorted to a unique way of protesting against Public Works Department’s apathy.
A group of 10 odd people barged into the PWD office with garlands and staged a well synchronized ‘Nagin’ (snake) dance while the officials sat there and watched puzzled. Later, the police forced them out of the room.
Reportedly, the locals had been complaining against the poor condition of roads near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Market but no action has been taken which forced the them to protest.
