A video showing former railway minister Dinesh Trivedi sharing an unpleasant while travelling on a Shatabdi Express train has gone viral on social media. Trivedi went on record to show the contaminated glass of lemon juice served in the train bound for Delhi on Dussehra (September 30).
According to a CNN News18 report, the All India Trinamool Congress politician said he opened the pack and saw dirt settled at its base. “Today is Dussehra. I just opened the Fresca lime water and see what I found inside. Have a look at it. This is what we are supposed to drink,” he said in the video.

Responding to Trivedi’s complaint, the Ministry of Railways tweeted that it would take prompt action. “Catering supervisor has met Dinesh Trivedi Ji on the train regarding this issue. We will be taking further action based on this complaint,” read the tweet.
The ministry handle went on to add that “Samples from same batch have been lifted Will be sent to 2/3 labs for testing Pending enquiry Fresca brand is delisted by IRCTC.”
