It’s not uncommon to find our politicians abusing their power to get away with flouting traffic rules, but rarely are they caught on camera while doing so. In one such rare video that is being widely shared on social media platforms, a politician of the Indian National Lok Dal has been shot breaking traffic rules, and allegedly abusing a traffic cop on the streets of Delhi.

The said cop shot a video of the politician on his phone, accusing him of using his political power to get away with the crime and using profane language. Though, the politician — who was in a car sporting a Haryana number plate — cannot be heard abusing in the video, the cop says, “Now you are scared to say anything because you are on camera.” He tells the politician that he will upload the video on the Delhi Police website.

At one point, the politician says he’s not a ‘neta’ but ‘public ka aadmi’, and changes his stance to an apologetic one later, but by that time the traffic cop already tells him that a complaint will be made to the Delhi Police.
