With Diwali around the corner, this short film by Urban Ladder called “Homecoming” evokes all the feelings related to family and togetherness. Interestingly, this time, the homecoming is for the parents and not the children.
In this video-story, a son and his wife invite their elderly parents to come and live with them in the city but the duo find it difficult to adjust. The children’s reaction and what they do thereafter is beautiful.
This is yet another addition to the growing trend of advertisements through stories, which work on the formula of striking an emotional connect with the consumer instead of straight-up selling. Well, this one will surely leave you teary-eyed.
