Joining people across the world in extending her support and love to the ones affected in the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting, popular TV show host Ellen DeGeneres decided to respond in the most heartwarming way. While they shot the latest episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she decided to showcase a montage that highlighted certain people and their incredibly good contributions to mankind that she had previously shown on her show. She admitted to feeling sad, anxious and helpless and agreed that it is very easy to lose hope in such testing times. “But we cannot do that,” she said in the video, now going viral.
“When I wake up today I think, How am I going to do a show? But it’s also days like this that I appreciate my job more than ever because I get to focus and shine a light on people that do good in the world,” she said, before going on to share the heart-touching montage with the rest of the world, to emphasise on how there is still a lot of goodness left in the world.
