Talent is not bound by anything — caste, creed, sex, age or even profession. A few months back, we saw a teenage balloon-seller dancing in Delhi’s Connaught Place and people fell in love with his moves and grooves.

Now, a security guard from Kolkata has become the new singing sensation on Facebook. The guard, identified as Souvik, has been winning hearts on social media platform with his soulful voice. Singing mostly Arijit Singh’s songs, his music videos have gone viral. Recognising his talent, someone working in the same building, Adarsh Singh, captured a video and shared it online.

On such video posted by Singh on November 28 has garnered over 2.5 million views, at the time of writing. A bit shy, Souvik seemed little hesitant at first when Singh cajoles him to sing but soon after he begins, he really gets into the groove.

While most of the people reacting to the video praised him and hailed Singh’s effort to bring his talent to light, few Netizens also doubted that the video is a hoax. They claimed the guard was not singing the song himself and it has been dubbed.

Singh, since then, has shared number of videos of Souvik singing various other songs.

Whatever the case may be, all his videos are being shared widely and people have being rooting for him to join any singing reality show. Singh also said in a video that Souvik will audition for such a show on December 18.
