Woman cuts hair short, husband’s disapproving reaction divides the Internet: ‘He’s not worth it’

The video quickly gained traction, with several influencers and social media users criticising the husband’s reaction. “This is not just for you but all the women watching this video thinking this is funny or ok. Please stop growing or cutting your hair because it’s what your partner likes. Your hair is on your own head & it’s YOUR hair so you should style it the way you like it to look,” content creator Scherezade Shroff Talwar wrote. “Why is he over reacting. It’s your hair , you have all rights to do whatever you want. Can’t believe this kind of men still exists,” another user commented.

“Now cut him out! He’s not worth it,” a third user reacted.

However, the woman, in the caption, defends her husband’s reaction. “I understand where you’re all coming from, but I feel this video might be giving the impression that he’s at fault. Trust me, if his intentions were wrong, I would never have been okay with it. He’s genuinely a kind and respectful person, that’s exactly why I chose to marry him. Let’s not judge all men the same way,” she wrote.

Some social media users also came in support of the man. One user commented, “If women can get upset with men shaving their beard, this is okay too.”

One woman wrote, “Humbhi to kabhi kabhi offend/disapointed ho jate hain na jaab humara insan bin bole clean shaved karke ata hain to, same goes for them, the guy likes her hair so much that he got disapointed after she cut her hair short.”

Another user commented, “His reaction is not aggressive. He’s genuinely frustated at the hairdresser. He too knows how important her hair was to her, that’s why he reacted that way. You should look at reaction videos where the male is ACTUAIIV harrasing over the hair length. I’m pretty sure he consoled her later, she seems upset too.”
