An Indian man and his wife were left stunned after they spotted a Vietnamese storekeeper talking in fluent Hindi and Gujarati during an interaction. Nik Sindhav and his wife Miral, recorded the moment at a marketplace, which is doing rounds on the internet.
In the viral video, the Vietnamese man said, “There is one fact that I know more than Hindi. Tell me, what is your local language?” To the couple’s response, the man quickly reacts with “Maja maa” meaning “I’m good” in Gujarati, leaving the couple in surprise. Sharing the video on Instagram, @miral.sindhav wrote, “This moment shocked us in Vietnam. First he spoke in Hindi and then Gujarati too.”

The video is winning hearts, amassing a range of reactions. “I met this guy too.. he said he watched all the episodes of “Balika Vadhu” and he was so amazed to see my wedding bangles as he had seen those in balika vadhu!” a user wrote. “Nothing surprising, they get many Indian tourists, and they learn a bit of all languages.
