A viral video shows an elderly man peacefully sleeping under the shade of an open umbrella on a railway track in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, as a train approaches and stops just in time.
The man was found resting on the tracks, prompting the loco pilot to stop the train and wake him up. The video, shared by X user Sachin Gupta, begins with the camera focusing on the elderly man, who is asleep under his umbrella, as the train comes to a halt at a safe distance.

“In Prayagraj, UP, a man was sleeping on the railway track with an umbrella. Seeing this, the loco pilot stopped the train. Then he woke him up and removed him from the track and then the train passed through,” the post read.

With over 77,000 views, the viral video amassed hilarious reactions from social media users. Reacting to it, a user wrote, “Such brilliant people.” Another user commented, “This is completely confusing. Why he wanted Umbrella at last moment?”
