Uber India ‘lost and found’ index: Delhi ‘most forgetful city’, ukulele ‘most unique’ lost item in cabs

Uber India has released its annual ‘lost and found’ index, revealing that Delhi remains the top ‘most forgetful city’ in India where commuters mostly forgot their belongings inside the cabs. It was followed by Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune. The survey of 2024 also released the list of the top five ‘most unique lost items’, which includes the ukulele instrument.

According to the official website of Uber India, commuters most likely forgot their belongings on Saturday, while mobile phones were the most commonly forgotten items, followed by laptop bags, clothing, keys, headphones, wallet, spectacles/sunglasses, water bottles, jewellery and watches.

It also revealed that Apple device users were ‘most forgetful’ in 2023. Samsung and Redmi phones were also left forgotten in Uber cabs.
