When Aamir Khan made the comment about India being intolerant, Twitterati broke in to frenzy to prove him right asking the actor to leave the country amid other verbal attacks. However, when people were pointing fingers at Aamir Khan, another person in San Francisco was constantly receiving notification on his Twitter account.
Why? Because his name is Amir too! In fact, when you type ‘Amir’ in Twitter’s search bar, his is the first handle that appears. But it’s Aamir Khan and not Amir Khan.
Amir Efrati, a reporter at The Information, is being constantly tagged by people tweeting about Amir and interestingly, the man is retweeting each tweet made to him in the context with a witty response.
Love it when @aamir_khan says controversial things. Shows me what it’s like to be Twitter celeb. My notifications: pic.twitter.com/dCmMr2wGCU
