Watch: SUV in Uttar Pradesh rams into bikers, tosses them 15 feet away

An accident involving an SUV and two men on a motorcycle in Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli was caught on camera and is now grabbing attention on social media. The accident took place on Sunday, March 2, in the Unchahar market area on the Lucknow-Prayagraj National Highway.
According to a report in The Free Press Journal, the flower-adorned SUV was on its to pick up the groom when it collided with the bikers, tossing them 15 feet away.
The viral footage shows two men riding a motorcycle through the streets when, in the blink of an eye, they are struck by the SUV. The impact tosses them into the air, and they crash to the ground near an electric rickshaw. The video also captures the SUV speeding away from the scene.

The video quickly gained traction, leading to an outrage on social media. A user demanded an immediate investigation into the matter. “Aunty in yellow saari got almost hit by the car, and still kept on going! That shows how normal “surviving” in our society is,” another user commented.
“This is not a mistake or a minor accident. This is definitely an attempt to murder. Thankfully it was captured in CCTV. A case of attempted murder should be registered,” a third user reacted.
The Raebareli police said they have taken cognizance of the accident, and that one of the injured men was taken to a district hospital for treatment. They also said the SUV involved in the accident has been confiscated.

Meanwhile, four people were killed and seven were severely injured after a dumper truck collided with an auto-rickshaw in Raebareli, Moneycontrol reported.
