Picture imperfect: Would you do this at your best friend’s wedding?

The picture has been viewed thousands of times.

At any wedding, the line-up of photos posing with the bride and groom, up on the stage is a mandatory attendance-taking feature. More so, if it’s your friend getting married, in which case a posed photograph in all your wedding-attending finery with the newlywed is a must for not only the wedding album, but Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and what-not.

But what happens to the one she/he is marrying? Though, in most family photos both the newlyweds are present and positioned centrally, when it comes to the group friends’ photo op… ‘the other person’ (can be the bride or the groom) usually slinks into the sidelines — literally, though quite unintentionally, we’re sure.

This is exactly what happened in a photograph posted by a Reddit user, with the title: “When It’s your best friend’s Wedding”.

This rather innocuous photo shot to instant stardom, and has been viewed thousands of times, with people making suggestions on what the poor bride must be thinking.

Not only that, the photo has now started a trend, with Redditors posting other similar versions of the picture. Parts two and three are already out. “This is getting better and better. I’m looking forward to Part IV,” wrote a Redditor.
