Creating a beautiful balance between humans and animals, nature has bound them together as an inevitable part of the ecosystem. However, in the recent years, industrialisation and globalisation have taken a toll on the natural habitat of wild life. To make people aware about the social issues at hand and to commemorate love and respect for animals, the world gears up for World Animal Day every year on October 4. Latching on to mark the occasion, Mumbai Police ringed in the celebrations by uploading a beautiful post for their followers.

Sharing an endearing picture of a police dog on a hunt with some cops, they spilled a heartfelt message on Twitter. “Make Mumbai a safe haven, for man, woman, child and our furry friends! #WorldAnimalWelfareDay,” the tweet read.
