On Saturday, he shared a heartfelt video on Instagram capturing the love and respect his female students showed him during the festival.
In the now-viral video shared on Instagram, Khan Sir revealed that more than 15,000 rakhis were tied on his wrist by his female students, leaving him speechless. “Today, the number of rakhis tied to my wrist was more than 15,000. These rakhis are so heavy that I am not even able to raise my hand,” he said in Hindi. “Iss kalyug mein hum itne saubhagyashali hai (I am so fortunate to have such an experience in today’s day and age). How do I even get up? This is so heavy.”
He further expresses his gratitude, explaining that he views his female students as sisters and that their gesture symbolises a bond that transcends family ties.
“These girls ignored caste, religion, states, and other factors to tie me rakhis. This shows humanity. There can’t be a better festival than this (Raksha Bandhan),” he added.
“Every brother and sister will be happy to hear the message of Khan Sir,” the caption of his Instagram post read.

The video quickly gained traction with over eight million views, garnering a wave of reactions. “Khan Sir, there is no teacher like you, and there will never be anyone who is beyond religion. May you get the age of God. Best wishes of Raksha Bandhan to all of you,” a user wrote. “Sir, if there are people like you in the entire India, then no one can stop India from becoming the Vishwaguru,” another user commented.
“A very good message has been given, sir. It has been proven that there is no religion greater than humanity; those who are poisoning each other in the name of religion should also think that humans can be bad, but no religion is wrong. Man creates religion to live his life, not to hate you sir. Keep spreading love among people and move forward in life,” a third user reacted.
