The cult classic movie ‘Jurassic Park’ has left an indelible impression among film buffs. The scenes featuring T-Rex in the film by Steven Spielberg induce an adrenaline rush and one can never forget the iconic logo showing a dinosaur in red background.

However, the logo got a desi twist apparently in Mumbai. A photograph showing “Shivaji Park” sticker pasted on an SUV is doing the rounds on social media and business tycoon Anand Mahindra called it “Indianization”.

Instead of “Jurassic Park”, the sticker says “Shivaji Park” and as per the text insert in the photo, it is from Mumbai. “It’s called Indianization. (Not just a Mumbai phenomenon) Nothing escapes our cultural bear hug!” the chairman of Mahindra Group tweeted.

The sticker triggered laughter online and many poked fun at it. A user commented, “Exactly, the way McDonald introduced “Aloo Tikki Burgers” for Indian consumers.” Another user wrote, “copying from foreign countries and slapping your label onto it is indianization, indeed.” A third user wrote, “Keeping the competition aside.”

Such twists to Hollywood movies never fail to amuse netizens. In 2016, a series of posters depicting Bollywood actors starring in Hollywood films went viral on social media. The YouTube channel Shudh Desi Endings came up with the hilarious posters. Actors Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol were seen in a spinoff poster of the film ‘The Hangover’ among others.
