Unless you have been living under a rock, you would know about the fallout between Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son, Akhilesh Yadav, the UP chief minister. Being touted as the latest ‘parivaar’ to join the list of India’s political ‘pari-wars’, the Samajwadi Party is lately seeing family feud unfold, and it’s there for everyone to see.

At a meeting called by the party patriarch Mulayam Singh, the CM after an emotional disclaimer that he will continue to be an obedient son, demanded a much-reduced role for estranged uncle Shivpal Yadav in party politics and action against Amar Singh, the general secretary of SP. This was right after his father praised both the leaders to no extent.

Amidst all this, there was absolutely no stopping Twitter. It watched the drama unfold, it observed and then it got down to what it does best — troll! Twitterati could not contain itself and made some downright hilarious comments, as party leaders (tried to) talk it out.

While some wondered why is it so difficult to understand Mulayam’s speech, others found a photo of Akhilesh with popular wrestler The Great Khali and decided it was time Shivpal Yadav and The Rock met up. Yes, it was trolls galore, and how!
