Indian Army soldiers recently turned a winter day into a moment of pure joy in the most unforgiving environments. A video shared on the Army’s official Instagram page shows them playing cricket in a snow-laden region using an improvised setup where snowballs were used as cricket balls, and a sturdy shovel served as a bat.
Even with biting cold and makeshift equipment, the soldiers’ enthusiasm won hearts on social media. Sharing the video, the handle wrote, “Where the cold bites hardest, their laughter echoes the loudest.”

The video quickly gained traction, garnering over four million views and three million likes. Reacting to it, veteran actor Anupam Kher wrote, “Jai Ho.”
