One friend is seen steering the bike, another can be seen holding up the drip stand as they ride off for a quick spin
Friendship sometimes makes people do the unthinkable, and in one such incident from Gwalior, a group of young men took their bond a little too far. A video has surfaced online showing a hospital patient, still hooked to an IV drip, being taken out for a bike ride by his friends.
The short 16-second clip, reportedly from the Naka Chandravadni area under Jhansi Road police station, shows three men on a motorcycle with their ailing friend wedged between them. While one steers the bike, another can be seen holding up the drip stand as they ride off for a quick spin before circling back to the hospital, as per India Today.

An onlooker captured the scene, and the video has since gone viral, sparking both laughter and outrage. Many viewers expressed disbelief over how casually the patient was whisked away, questioning hospital safety and protocol.
While some online called the act reckless, others saw it differently. One user wrote in Hindi, “First, find out what the truth is because the one who was admitted to the hospital, if he called his friend to take him somewhere for a ride, then that’s not wrong; it could be that he got bored in the hospital, so he might just want to go for a little outing to cheer himself up.”
Another comment read: “Greetings Madhya Pradesh Police, nowadays criminal cases are increasing in the country and state, but there are also some videos that make the heart happy seeing the bond of friendship. Please take appropriate action and kindly release them.”
As of now, the reason behind this unusual outing isn’t clear, whether it was simply friends having fun or something more pressing. Authorities, however, have taken note of the viral clip, and local police along with the administration have begun investigating, according to Asianet News.
