Wildlife enthusiasts love to flock to wildlife sanctuaries and nature reserves to catch a glimpse of wild animals. Big cats such as tigers can prove to be elusive when it comes to sighting them in forests. Tourists who went to the Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh, however, were lucky as they spotted not one but a group of tigers strolling casually in the forest.

An X account named Panna Tiger Reserve shared the video from the nature park on Wednesday. It said it was recorded during the morning safari at Madla gate. The video shows an adult tigress, probably the mother, strolling in the forest along with her litter of cubs. There are as many as five tigers roaming around as someone in a jeep records the video. The tourists appear to be calm even though they are in close proximity to the tigers.

Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Ramesh Pandey reposted the video on his X account and wrote, “Parks are either about to open or opened in some parts of the country depending on weather conditions or other factors. Good shares have started pouring in. Here is one from Panna.” “Neat with not much of crowd at one place,” a user commented. “Great,” said another.

Recently, a video from Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri district showing a tiger roaming freely in a sugarcane field had gone viral. A man named Prashant Pandey shared the clip on X. The 17-second video shows the tiger prowling in the sugarcane field. The video seems to have been recorded from inside a car as its bonnet is visible while the tiger is just a few metres away.
