We all know Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is tech-savvy and his love for Twitter is immense. He tweets and retweets whatever he thinks about affairs that concern him. On social media, he is famous for his messages to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre, which possibly makes up most of his timeline.

On November 2, when he went to meet the family of ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal who had committed suicide allegedly over the One Rank One Pension scheme, he was detained by the Delhi Police. Reportedly, he was detained in his car for hours outside Lady Hardinge Hospital before being taken to the RK Puram Police Station, where he was let off around midnight.

But guess what, people who follow him on Twitter didn’t have to switch to television or read online reports to know what was happening — because the CM almost live-tweeted how the events unfolded yesterday. From the time he reached the hospital and waited to meet the family to the time Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia – who was also detained – reached the police station, he was tweeting everything. In fact, he even quoted a report that stated he is being asked to leave but he refuses to leave, and corrected it saying, “This is completely false. I have been asked to stay back.” And as expected, he also said, “Narendra Modi, Sainik Virodhi”.

Check out all his tweets written during the hours of his detention.

Now, that’s what we call a truly tech-savvy politician!
