‘I send all of my salary to India’: Bengaluru chef in Dubai earns Rs 90,000

He explained that his employer provides him with both accommodation and a visa. Regarding his earnings, the chef said he earns AED 3,500 a month, which is around Rs 90,500.

His family continues to live in Bengaluru, and when asked how much of his salary he sends home, he surprised many with his answer. “I send all of it, just keep for the basic expenses,” he said.

Despite sending almost his entire income back home, the chef has a clear ambition for his future. When asked about his dream, he said he wants to open his own Indian restaurant in Dubai.

He also spoke warmly about his experience working in the city and the bond he shares with his employer. “How you left your home to come to work here, the owner here keeps us as their own family. We all run this business together,” he said.

However, one user pointed out the challenge behind his ambition, asking, “Bro, you send all your money to India and don’t save anything. Then how will you open a restaurant in Dubai?”
