Baba Ramdev gets trolled for his tweet on boycotting Chinese products; here’s why

Now, while we understand that Ramdev might have ten-thousand things on his mind, and he needs to be constantly online with the latest gadgets so as to run the Patanjali empire that he’s building, minor things like tags might escape his notice. But not for the ever vigilant Twitterati, for whom error-spotting is like a full-time job you do willingly!

Ramdev’s famous tweet was sent using an iPhone, and though it doesn’t show on the Web, one can see it if viewed via Tweetdeck. The unsparing tweeple dug it out and shared the screenshot of the same on social media. In case you don’t know, Apple iPhones are assembled in Shenzhen,China!

Ramdev probably did not see this backlash coming, but unsurprisingly he is being massively trolled on social media for this. “Tweeting from an iPhone made in China, Baba Ramdev asks everybody to boycott Chinese products. That’s Patanjali flavoured hypocrisy for you,” wrote one user.
