After YesMadam lays off employees, magicpin offers jobs to them: ‘No madam’
Magic Pin launched a new campaign on LinkedIn with the now-viral ad featuring two men holding placards.

A day after YesMadam was slammed over allegedly carrying ‘mass firing’ based on an internal mental health survey, shopping and delivery application magicpin offered jobs to the affected employees of the home salon services platform.
Launching a campaign on LinkedIn, magicpin invited laid-off employees to join it. Madhav Sharma, Creative Director, magicpic, shared the ad that read, “This campaign was executed without any stress.”
The viral ad features two men holding placards — one read, “No madam. Stressed employees can perform! Because they care,” and another said, “magicpin invites laid off employees to join across department.”

The magicpin post impressed several social media users who called it an “innovative marketing strategy.” A user wrote, “Impactful and thoughtful initiative—creating real opportunities while addressing important issues. Well done.” Another user commented, “Magicpin is doing magic for laid off employees.”
“Well, it’s a marketing strategy and i would say it worked very well,” a third user reacted.
The backlash against YesMadam began on Monday when a copywriter at the Noida-based startup posted online what was said to be an internal email informing employees they had been laid off. “What’s happening at YesMadam? First you conduct a random survey and then fire us overnight because we’re feeling stressed? And not just me 100 other people have been fired too,” the employee wrote on LinkedIn.
According to the mail cited by the employee, YesMadam said the decision was taken to ensure no one works under stress after many said they were stressed during a mental health survey. “As a company committed to fostering a healthy and supportive work environment, we have carefully considered the feedback. To ensure that no one remains stressed at work, we have made the difficult decision to part ways with employees who indicated significant stress,” the mail cited by the employee read.
