23-year-old woman dies while filming reel on way to Ellora Caves

In the video, the woman from Maharashtra’s Chhatarapati Sambhaji Nagar probably pumped the accelerator instead of brake which resulted in her death.

In a viral video posted on social media platform X by @Mumbaikhabar9, a 23-year-old woman from Maharashtra’s Chhatarapati Sambhaji Nagar tragically died while attempting to film reels near the Dutt Dham Temple hill on the way to Ellora caves.

The video shows Shweta Survase reversing a white Toyota Etios car around 2 pm on Monday, despite not having much experience in driving. Her friend Shivraj Mule, 25 who was recording the video, can be heard shouting in fear.

It appears that she mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, leading to the accident.

The video has already been viewed 9,935 times, sparking discussions among netizens about safety. Many are pointing out how people risk their lives just to create viral content for social media reels.

Reacting to the video, one user commented on how reel-crazy people go to any limit to shoot and upload videos. Meanwhile a second user said, “Not a clever way to play with your life!.” And a third user added, “Oh Shitt!!! Driving is not an easy task, need to be careful every second while on driving seat.”
