A Harry Potter fan sought a favor from author J K Rowling and she obliged because when a potter-head is in need, Rowling comes to the rescue.

Twitter user Kate wrote to Rowling on Twitter that “I’ve been through so many things in life, from sexual assault to bullying to attempted suicide 8 times. I am also trying my best to stop self-harming. It hurts my body, it hurts my soul more.”

She goes on to explain how Rowling has helped her in life when she was down, and how Rowling has given her so many chances and not taking them seriously wouldn’t be fair to her.

Then Kate put forth her request and it’s nothing but beautiful.

“I wanna get ‘expecto patronum’ tattooed on the wrist I usually cut the most… bc I know that’s gonna help me stop even if it takes a while,” she writes in her message to Rowling, adding that it’ll mean the “world” to her if it was in the author’s hand writing.

Rowling didn’t take long to revert and tweeted “I love that you’re working to heal and protect yourself. You deserve this. I hope it helps,” with a picture of ‘expecto patronum’ in her own hand-writing.
