What Indians have to say about US Elections 2016, Trump: Is it an India 2014 polls redux?

There is much to entertain in the American presidential elections.

Indians have always had a keen interest in the goings-on in the US of A. So, it’s not surprising that the full-of-controversy US Elections 2016 has had many an Indian eyes glued on to the two front-runners republican Donald Trump and democrat Hillary Clinton. Of course, this is partly because both candidates have had very decisive views of India and what the US’ policies regarding India should be; the other part can be credited to the slew of controversial statements from Trump, some of which, include India and Indians. As always, there is much to entertain in the American presidential elections.

As the primaries are under way, we hone in on the Indian twitterati crowd that has been chirruping about the US elections; it’s interesting to note how many have found the current elections reminiscent of the 2014 Indian general elections.
