A video of an orphaned bear meeting and playing with a caretaker, who took care of her when she was a cub, is going viral on social media.
The bear named Sonya was orphaned as a cub and was cared for by a caretaker, identified only as Jonathan, for years.
After not seeing him for a while, a video captures what happened when the bear finally met him. The video recorded at the Orphaned Wildlife Center, shows Sonya reaching out to Jonathan as soon as she sees him. The bear reportedly raced to the fence when she first heard Jonathan’s voice.

Not only does the bear remember her caretaker, but she also remembers the game they used to play and gets him to play with her again.
As Sonya can’t be released into the wild she is to provided sanctuary for life at the wildlife sanctuary.
