An entrepreneur from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is receiving plaudits on social media after he surprised his house help with gifts that could help her build her future.

In an Instagram video, Melvin Lassooy, founder of the Wolf Pack Group, can be heard talking to his housekeeper, as he praises her work, calling her the best house staff he has ever had. From cooking varied meals a day to ensuring his good health, Lassooy credits her with myriad tasks she does for him and his house.

As the video progresses, Lassooy reminds her that she once mentioned needing a laptop for her studies, and in the next moment, he hands her a new laptop. He then tells her he admires the positive energy she brings to the house while remaining focused.

As she screams with excitement, Lassooy goes on to give her a brand-new phone, saying, “because she’s a wonderful person,”. “I don’t like it, I love it,” she responds while holding the laptop.

Lassoy talks about her plan to save money for her studies, and offers to pay for it. He also admits it bothers him that her pay is so low. “Just because she was born in a different country.”

Sharing the video, Lassooy wrote, “Appreciate the people that are there for you.”

The video touched hearts, with many users praising Lassooy for showing kindness towards his house help.
