Meet Sean O’Brien, popularly known as the ‘dancing man’ who has now become world famous after his story went viral.
O’Brien was dancing in a club in Britain when a few people started laughing at him; he quietly stepped away and stood in a corner. The bullies went a step ahead and posted his picture on social media with a caption: “Spotted this specimen trying to dance the other week. He stopped when he saw us laughing.” The picture went viral and what happened next restores faith in humanity.
As soon as the picture was shared on social media, the effect intended was quite the opposite. Los Angeles-based writer and activist Cassandra Fairbanks, along with her gang, decided to throw a party for the ‘dancing man’ and surprise him.

The search on Twitter almost became a movement when #FindDancingMan and #DancingManFound gained massive traction on social media. In fact, musicians like Pharrel Williams and Moby tweeted in support of him and offered their services for free.
