It doesn’t matter if you plan on pranking someone on April 1 or not, your friends have probably been planning it for weeks. Enemies, friends, best friends, lovers, family — everyone is a suspect. Home, office, metro — nowhere is it safe.
So, if you don’t want to be pranked this first day of April, then here are some survival tips to get you to safety:
Always stay alert. That is the very first and the most important rule for survival.
Go to a religious place… even if you don’t believe. Because, seriously, no one would prank you in the house of God.
If something looks suspicious, it probably is. Be wary of everything around. Check the salt, sugar… even your shampoo. And also buy new grocery for the day because your old stuff was already tampered with.
Cook your own food. If you can’t, get packaged food. Remember, even restaurants are potential danger zones.
Sleep late, wake up early… Or don’t sleep or sleep the whole day off. We aren’t really particular about this one. We just want you safe!
Isolate yourself. Like, lock yourself in your room with all the stuff you need and celebrate the fact that the world is trying to pull a fast one on you, and it. just. cant!
Go offline. But you probably can’t, so don’t click on any suspicious-looking links your friends send you. Also, be wary of spam mails or just don’t even check your email for the day, they could have a virus. Also don’t watch Youtube videos for the day, ‘coz this day they’re just filled with troll vids.
Change all your passwords, and sign out! And apply lock screens to your laptop, tabs and smartphones. At the very least, don’t let your friends use your phone or laptop. And also sign out of your accounts in public computers, else you might not like what you see…
