‘Game of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner chose to speak in support of ‘Stranger Things’ child actor Finn Wolfhard after fans accused him of being rude as he did not stop and talk to his fans who were waiting outside his hotel. While Wolfhard’s cast were quick to defend him, Turner decided to be more vocal and took to Twitter to end it once and for all. In a series of strongly worded tweets, she wrote how ‘fully grown adults’ were waiting outside for the ‘Stranger Things’ kids at a hotel, and they got all upset and abused the kids when they didn’t stop to meet. She further went on to question the ‘adults’ and wrote, “Is super weird A. What adult in their right mind waits for a CHILD outside their hotel and B is then is offended when the CHILD doesn’t stop.”

Turner, who herself was a child actor when she first starred in Game of Thrones, seemed to relate to Wolfhard’s situation and backed him on the micro-blogging site with a long Twitter thread. “It doesn’t matter if they are an actor… they are kids first. Give them the space they need in order to grow without feeling like they owe,” she said. Check out her tweets here.

Moreover, she also shed light on the fact that no parent would like adults charging towards their children with cameras flashing in their faces.

After clearly making her point, she ended her the thread by calling out the fans who criticised Wolfhard’s behaviour in the first place.

Twitterati were impressed with the actor’s words and appreciated her for voicing her opinions for a fellow star. Some even emphasised the situation of actors who are given very little personal space.
