Within days of becoming an overnight heartthrob, the latest blue-eyed boy of the Internet — Arshad Ali, who is a tea-seller in Pakistan, managed to land his first modelling contract, thanks to  a lot of women’s fervent wishing. Many contemplated booking tickets to the country. But if you think he is the only guy whose good looks have managed to send a mass of women (and men) haywire, you are wrong.

There’s a security personnel at the Singapore airport, who is probably one of the main reasons people keep coming back to the country. Lee Minwei is a corporal in Certis Cisco which is the organisation that maintains security at Changi Airport in Singapore. Recently, the agency shared a photo of the officer on social media following which a lot of people have really lost their chill. He is now responsible for single-handedly, brightening up the otherwise bleak days of many girls, as one Internet user has pointed out.

The Changi Airport seems to agree with the agency and uploaded another photo of the officer on Facebook, because why not! Beauty in all its forms, even if it’s a security officer, must be appreciated.

This is the text of the post.

Lee Minwei, 22, is a Corporal in the Auxiliary Police Force at Certis Cisco. Being part of the team that upholds security at Changi Airport is something Minwei is both passionate about and deeply interested in.

“I really enjoy learning more about the security measures at Changi, and keeping others safe. Also, seeing travellers and tourists excited to go on their trips makes me happy too. That’s why I always smile more at work, and hopefully it helps brighten up someone else’s day.”

He agrees that his most interesting experience from working in the airport the past 7 months, is his sudden online popularity, after a Twitter picture of him on duty, went viral.

“There are times when tourists ask me to take photos with them, but I never expected something like this to happen. It was really quite a shock. My friends and family tease me a lot, but I have a feeling my younger brother is slightly jealous. I think my three siblings and I are all attractive in our own way. We took after our parents’ good looks – my mother has really beautiful eyes.”

“I am single, but not actively looking for a relationship right now because I want to focus on my career. I believe things will happen naturally if it’s meant to be, and if the right girl comes along.”

This is the Facebook post.

Social media users since then have bid goodbye to all the calm they had gained after reeling from how handsome our man from Pakistan is.

Some even saw hope in what Minwei said.

Well, we see a surge in people planning trips to Singapore! Let us know what you think about Minwei in the comments below.
