The Invictus Games were initiated by Prince Harry in 2014 as a Paralympics-style international adaptive sporting event for those injured on active military duty and veteran service members. In 2016, United States won the bid to host the Invictus Games at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World during May 8–12.
Ahead of the 2016 Invictus Games, Michelle Obama tweeted Prince Harry — an army veteran himself — a challenge.
Hey, @KensingtonRoyal! Are you ready for @InvictusOrlando? Game on. pic.twitter.com/S34KrEv5Is

Prince Harry tweeted in response that he heard the message loud and clear and that he wasn’t alone when he received the message.
.@FLOTUS @POTUS How on Earth am I going to top that? 🤔 – H
