It seems our Prime Minister Narendra Modi left quite an impression on Prince William during the royal couple’s visit to the Capital on April 12. Well, quite literally!
During a photo op with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the steps of Hyderabad House, the PM and Prince exchanged a long, and firm handshake for the mediapersons in audience. The whole event went off remarkably well, as such official events usually go — except for one teeny-tiny detail. A close-up of Prince William’s hand soon after the handshake shows an impression of the Prime Minister’s fingers on the former’s right hand.
Though, these agency photos show a hint of the impression of Modi’s fingers on the royal’s palm, EPA photos published by the Daily Mail give a much clearer view.
Now, we all know that a firm handshake is the mark of strong character, and these photographs seem to stand testimony to the adage.
