Online dating can be tricky but when it comes to Tinder, at least there is one guarantee that it is a match only when it is mutual. Meaning no getting pestered by those who swipe left. However, a Canadian woman’s horrendous experience with her non-Tinder matched guy has left people creeped out. It all started when he swiped her right but never received a similar response — something quite normal in case of the dating app. However, unhappy with not matching, the man tracked her on Instagram and hurled abuses at her!
Julia shared screenshots of the direct message exchanged between her and the man with the account name @yayipper (the account no longer exists) on Twitter and it is going viral. “This is how the conversation ended after I said 6 times I was not interested,” she wrote on Twitter sharing the conversation.
i rejected a man today, who found me off tinder but we did not match. this is how the conversation ended after i said 6 times i was not interested. pic.twitter.com/AfQX2tWCK9

Irked by her repeated negative answers, he continued to message her and then proceeded to call her names. “I don’t take irrational things. It’s not the no, it’s the lack of rational that gets me. You have no reason to say no,” wrote. When she added, “My answer is not changing. You are forceful and creepy,” he slammed her saying she has “issues” and told her to “get off” dating sites. And when she did not respond, he kept bickering and asked: “Why are you even alive?”
Netizens were appalled by the man’s messages and while some felt angry others shared similar experiences and said this is why they are scared.
This is why I’m scared to respond the the dude I didn’t match with on tinder who found my Facebook and asked if I was at a super specific place on a super specific day and time https://t.co/oOaSqurDkz

This is why a lot of men genuinely terrify me. What the hell is this 🤦🏾♀️ https://t.co/db2dfEefGu

Honestly the sad truth is that this kind of behaviour is such a regular occurrence, men thinking their entitled to you because you were on a dating site regardless of whether you’re interested or not 🤦🏼♀️ https://t.co/LkdSUQyP8I

I find it very hard to find words to describe how angry this makes me. When someone tells you no, you accept it, or you go and get help. This is unbelievable, and unfortunately very common #noalwaysmeansno https://t.co/78qF7iD6Te

Men being men. “How dare you to say no to a man”. And yes, I am generalizing. I know men that do that kind of thing, and another group of men that don’t care his friend is abusive

Sadly, stuff like that happens. Idk why guys think they can talk a woman into wanting them or would want to date someone that needs convincing. The “Ill just keep insulting her until she breaks” method doesn’t work.

So a woman must be attracted to any and every man on a dating site? So every man on a dating site should match and talk to and go on a date with every woman on a dating site, right?

Holy frick and you see the guy is still trying to type message to you what a losser I hope he left you alone!

Scariest shit I’ve read today. Cuz it’s true.

So…. saying no = not rational. ……
But questioning the point of someone existing, and threatening them is? …… pic.twitter.com/KpPDk7DHsh

So by his rationale a woman on a dating site must accept a date from ANY man on that site, otherwise she shouldn’t be allowed to use the service.
Or be alive.

Have you faced something like this before?
