Lil X steals the spotlight in the Oval Office as Elon Musk and Donald Trump talk policy

While some social media users found the contrast between the serious topic and the child’s carefree energy hilarious, others couldn’t get over how effortlessly Lil X became the star of the conference.

Musk visited the White House for the signing of an executive order aimed at significantly reducing the size of the federal workforce. According to the Associated Press, government agencies will now have to develop strategies for major staff cuts, including identifying departments that could be merged or shut down if they aren’t legally essential.

The order also enforces a strict hiring rule: for every four federal employees who leave, only one new hire can be made. However, exceptions will apply to roles in immigration, law enforcement, and public safety.
