
Shah Rukh Khan stood taller than usual on Saturday as Dubai’s iconic skyscraper Burj Khalifa was lit up with his name to mark the Bollywood actor’s 54th birthday.
“Happy birthday to the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan,” the message on the skyscraper read.
The birthday wishes were also accompanied by the building’s famous light and fountain show. The message had the song Dhoom Taana from his film Om Shanti Om playing in the background

The actor, who is the brand ambassador of Dubai tourism’s Be My Guest campaign, shared the video of Burj Khalifa on his Instagram and Twitter feeds.
“Thanks for making me shine so bright. Your love and kindness are unsurpassable. Wow! This is really the Tallest I have ever been. Love u Dubai. It’s my birthday and I’m the guest!” he captioned his post.

Some even claimed that the actor is “the first Indian” ever to be featured on the skyscraper. However, last month Mahatma Gandhi was featured on the building, to mark his 150th birthday. The illumination was accompanied by his favourite bhajan Vaishnava Jana To, playing in the background.
