WWE fame John Cena was among the international celebrities who attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s extravagant wedding. Cena, who is gearing up for his upcoming movie ‘Jackpot’, recently spoke about the food served at the billionaires’ festivities.
In an interview with news agency ANI, Cena said the spice level of the food at the wedding was enough for him. “The Ambani wedding had its fair share of cuisine, but they also did Indian food and Indian street food very well. The food was fantastic. I had a short stay…I would love to go back and be able to try some more Indian food,” he said.
“The level of spice was just enough for me, just enough to break a small sweat. So I can’t wait to try to test my spice meter when I come back. I look forward to returning soon,” he added.

Cena also shared his meeting with Shah Rukh Khan at the Ambani wedding. Calling the moment “starstruck”, said, “He (Shah Rukh Khan) did a Ted Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life. And since that change, I have been able to recognise all the jackpots that I have been given and been grateful and work hard to make sure I don’t waste them.”
From Banarasi chaat to lassi to paan to Gujarati dhokla, the Ambanis served several cuisines from parts of India. One of the viral videos showed dessert being served on a mini train spread across a giant table.
