One of the highlights of his trip was a visit to Gamarra, Lima’s bustling commercial hub, where he was met with massive crowds, as reported by La República. But the real surprise came when Speed met with Lima’s actual mayor, Rafael López Aliaga, at the municipal building. In a moment no one saw coming, the mayor honoured Speed as an ambassador for the city and the country.

IShowSpeed’s South American tour has been a rollercoaster ride, with chaotic scenes unfolding in multiple countries. In Chile, the streamer was swarmed by an overwhelming crowd of fans.
In another incident some fans even threw fireworks at his car, forcing him to cut his livestream short. Things didn’t get any easier in Peru. His arrival was leaked by a Kick streamer who was already at the airport, broadcasting the entire time.
