‘The invisible man’: Chinese influencer’s art camouflages him against every scenery

Meet painter Wang Liang from Shandong province in eastern China, dubbed ‘human chameleon,’ and ‘the invisible man,’ by his fans from across the world. Wang has over a million followers on social media platform Douyin. Many of his videos reach other platforms too.

With his brushes and colours, he paints on his body according to the background, drowning himself in painted flowers, plants, daily objects and so on. ““My artwork aims to demonstrate the concept of humans blending into nature and living in harmony with it. I hope to advocate for nature conservation through my works,” said Wang in a MyNews report.

A video shared by @babelfish.asia on Instagram shows how Wang begins his process and then completely disappears against the backdrop. Thus, getting him the moniker of ‘Invisible man of China.’

One user wrote, “Give me 1 million i still couldn’t. Passionate cant win against nurture.” Another user said, “Genuinely took me a while to locate this guy in his videos.”

Wang’s work of art can be spotted around famous spots. It typically takes him two to three hours to complete a piece, using acrylic paints, oil brushes and other tools. He only paints on sunny days, reported MyNews.
