On the recent episode of ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’, comedian Nick Kroll who was promoting his show ‘Big Mouth’ which is about puberty, dared all celebrities to share their awkward puberty pictures under the hashtag #PuberMe or #PuertoRicoRelief.

Colbert who loves to spice things up fanned the fire and announced that he would give $ 1000 to charity for every awkward celebrity photo (obviously he gets to decide who is a celebrity) posted on social media.

In the spirit of the challenge, Colbert rolled out his ‘suave’ teenage photo as he didn’t really have an awkward picture, according to him. Many celebrities happily pitched in and posted their puberty moments on Twitter. Colbert announced his favourites the next night and vowed to give out the money for every tweet to the Puerto Rico relief fund.

Some of the pictures included celebrities like Sarah Silverman, who looked cooler at 13 than Colbert looks now, said the talk show host. Aidy Bryant also shared her picture from her yearbook and according to Colbert she must have been voted the ”most thoughtful squirrel of the year.” Colbert showed several celebrity pictures and asked others to step up and tweet the photos of bold cuts, brace faces and a constellation of acne across the T-Zone.

From Reese Witherspoon to Alison Brie, many celebrities stepped up and we picked out our favourites. Take a look:
