With Christmas almost here, most people wear Santa caps to feel festive, some even dress as Santa but there’s a man running around the streets of downtown Tokyo dressed up as a Christmas tree and he is beautifully lit-up.
As bizarre as it sounds, Joseph Tame, a British inventor based in Japan, is wearing a 25kg Christmas tree with 1,500 lights, 99 batteries, 30m of wiring all around town. He has been working for two months on what he calls “The World’s First Wearable On-Demand Illuminated Christmas Tree Service”.
Tame came up with the project to make Christmas lights accessible to all. “For the past couple of months I’ve been working on a new wearable device that is unlike anything on the market today, designed to solve a social problem related to Christmas,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Here’s the video he and his crew have created to show the ‘The running Christmas tree in Tokyo’
