A stunning optical illusion during a sunset in Florida has ignited a social media frenzy as netizens grapple with the mesmerising spectacle of a divided sky. The extraordinary video, shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter), showcases a seemingly split-screen sunset with vivid reds and yellows on the right and a darker, more subdued sky on the left.

The visual spectacle is attributed to the shadow cast by a colossal cloud positioned below the horizon. This cloud obstructed direct sunlight, preventing it from reaching the clouds nearer to the ground and creating the illusion of two distinct celestial landscapes.

As the image circulated on X, comments poured in from intrigued users. One individual speculated, “Seems like a glitch in the software,” while another admitted, “I’ve seen the sky do that before, it has never made sense to me.”

Adding a touch of poetic appreciation, a third user commented, “Piece of art. God is the greatest,” emphasising the awe-inspiring beauty of nature’s unscripted visual dramas.
