Dubai, the UAE city synonymous with Burj Khalifa, is also popular for a wide range of dry fruits exported from Iran and Afghanistan. FIX Dessert Chocolatier, a popular brand in the city, recently created a chocolate filled with pistachio. Popular as the kunafa chocolate bar, the dessert has taken over the internet.

Content creator Ribah Khan tried the chocolate for the first time on camera. A video she posted on Instagram shows the chocolate bar filled with gooey pistachio cream and layered with either dark or milk-crunchy chocolate. The product is priced at 65 AED (Rs 1,481 approximately).

“Didn’t expect it to be this good,” Khan wrote.

The video has drawn a sea of mixed reactions on social media. An Instagram user compared it to cow dung. “Looks like a cow’s dung,” the user wrote. “I feel like gagging and puking,” another user commented. “Just 6/10. Have one brand better taste than fix chocolatier. It’s from Riyadh,” a user said.

According to CNN, Sarah Hamouda launched the brand in 2021 and the chocolate is inspired by pregnancy cravings. “To be honest, not at any point did I think this was going to become global,” she told CNN.
