It is no secret that people on social media have time and again called out US President Donald Trump for something he had tweeted or said. And ever since he became president, Trump too has provided plenty of opportunities to ‘talk’ about him.
It was only recently that he was severely criticised for his “warmest condolences” tweet to victims who lost their lives in the Las Vegas shooting massacre, and it seems he has made news for all the wrong reasons once again.
Trump recently visited Puerto Rico, which was severely affected by the worst hurricane in 90 years, Hurricane Maria. At a hurricane relief distribution centre at San Juan, the President was seen in a video throwing paper towels at a crowd of locals.
His act drew wide spread condemnation and Twitterati has been busy making memes pocking fun at Trump.
While some said, “The president is throwing paper towel rolls into the crowd in Puerto Rico like a t-shirt cannon at a sporting event. 2017, man,” they were others wrote, “It disappoints! It disappoints me to see my people desperate and the “president” thinks he’s at a Knicks game.”

And soon reactions started pouring in. They were some who were clearly angry with the act.

If only it were a game or a TV show. But it’s not. It’s real life and he’s not up to the task. Period.

Trump legit throwing paper towels into audience in Puerto Rico. This looks like some Hieronymus Bosch or general cray Renaissance painting. pic.twitter.com/8bMW40v05b
