Chinese woman calls Indian food 'very dirty'
In a viral video, Indian vlogger “Passenger Paramvir” finds himself in a light-hearted debate over Indian cuisine with a Chinese woman. As the two chat, Paramvir jokes that “Chinese food is not good, but Indian food is amazing,” prompting the woman to pull out some rather unusual videos of Indian street food. One clip shows dough being kneaded with an armpit, another has a chef grinding tomatoes with his feet, and a third shows dal being served directly into someone’s hands.
With a laugh, she challenges him, saying, “How did you say Chinese food is bad? The videos I’ve seen show me Indian food is very dirty,” flipping the conversation on him.
Amused but slightly taken aback, Paramvir chuckles and admits, “Isne toh meri bolti band kar di (She’s left me speechless).” He quickly reassures her that these clips are far from the norm, explaining, “You won’t find any of this on the street. I don’t know where they find these videos, but it’s very uncommon; I’ve never seen anything like that myself.” He says that a visit to a clean, reputable spot could change her perspective on Indian cuisine.
To settle the debate, Paramvir takes her to a local Indian restaurant. As the video wraps up, viewers see her smiling, savouring each bite, and declaring the food “Yummy” as she digs in.

The video which has nearly 20,000 views on X was flooded with praise for the Indian man who dealt with the hate in a positive and light-hearted manner. One user wrote, “Handled it like a champ.” Another user commented, “If they took bad, give them good. He changed her whole perspective towards India.”
